To train as a patent attorney, you must have a STEM degree in a relevant technical discipline. Further information on degree requirements for each group can be found on our careers website. Your degree will be complemented by strong A Levels (typically 3 at grade A or equivalent).
In addition to your technical skills, you demonstrate a natural curiosity and inquisitiveness, with a flair for writing and a meticulous eye for detail. Our recruitment process is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your interest in a career within IP. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to attend a two-stage interview process, where you will meet a number of representatives from the firm.
Interviews are scheduled during September and December, and we will keep you regularly informed during each stage of the process.
