Give yourself a great head start in your career by spending 10 weeks owning a project working amongst some of Centrica’s award-winning brands.

The Programme

Centrica is a leading energy, services and solutions company. We keep millions of homes and businesses running and work hard to support the changing needs of our customers and help them transition to a lower carbon future. Join us on our Summer Placement programme and you can discover what it would be like to work at the heart of our business, helping to shape our strategy for the future.

Some of the questions you could be helping us address include: Is Centrica delivering what people need? What should our message be to customers in homes and businesses throughout Britain? How can we ensure we continue to do the right thing with so much change impacting the energy sector and the markets we operate in?

You’ll get to develop career-boosting skills within areas such as Brand, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and so much more. If you really stand out from the crowd, you could earn yourself a place on our Graduate programme working amongst our exciting Centrica brands like British Gas, Centrica Business Solutions and our newly formed British Gas Evolve.

There is also plenty of support offered if you join our Summer Placement programme. You will have a buddy and a Graduate Talent Manager who’ll be on hand to support you in your development during your 10 weeks.

What you will need

We’re looking for proactive, can-do students who have a genuine desire to learn about our business and industry. You must be:

  • Looking to start your Graduate career in 2022
  • Expecting a 2:1 degree – any discipline (2:2 if combined with a Master’s)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Free to start your internship on Tuesday 22nd June 2021
  • A willingness to learn and try new things
