We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting placement opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated forestry student, based on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire.
About the role
It is envisaged that this will be suitable for recent graduates or those about to graduate from Forestry or related courses looking to obtain experience from which to start their career in the forestry profession.
You will work under the instruction of the Forestry Manager and Assistant Forester to assist in delivering multipurpose forestry on a modern estate.
This is a two-year position, starting 1st August 2022. Reasonably priced accommodation may be available on the Estate.
Hours of work are 39 per week, usually from 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but some flexibility around these hours is expected.
