We are delighted to bring to market an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer, recently qualified, and looking to develop their experience in the world of utilities.

Due to exponential growth within our Capital Projects division, we are recruiting for a Graduate Engineer to join our project with the EKFB Joint Venture and HS2 to support in delivering our works for 2022/2023.

The role

You will be mentored through your early career with Clancy, attending site with the senior engineering team to be directly involved in project delivery, putting you in prime position to learn from the best on this ambitious programme of works.

You’ll also attend training courses as part of your development plan to see you enhance your engineer skills, and these are just some of the duties you will be involved with:

  • Work with Senior Engineers and site management teams, assisting in the day to day running of the project, including setting out on site, documenting preparation such as RAMS, TBs, ITPs etc.
  • Support with quality assurance, testing requirements, selection and methods of construction and production of RAMS, submitting to the client for approval
  • Check installation on site is correct according to specifications and quality
  • Assisting with task briefings and attending meetings, as required
  • Ensure activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures

What do you need?

If you possess a higher education civil engineering degree, or diploma equivalent, enjoy finding solutions to problems and have great communication skills, you have everything we are looking for!
