The role

As an intern within the Project Management team, you will have a great opportunity to learn skills including Project, Risk and Portfolio Management. Being part of the IT Infrastructure & Operations team opens the possibility of engaging with a world-wide CME Network including teams in Belfast, Singapore, Chicago, New York, London & Bangalore.

Position responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the business, such as:

  • Building Project Management skills: contributing to, and engaging with full lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, through to Closure.
  • Risk management development: Planning, Identification, Analysis & Response.
  • Cost management: Estimating, determining budget and controlling costs.
  • Portfolio Management: including Prioritisation, Supply/Demand Management, Budgeting & Project Forecasting.
  • Communications management: Planning, managing and controlling.

About you

  • Undertaking or have recently graduated with a degree in any field.
  • Evidence of taking business, finance and computer science related modules will be looked on favourably.

  • Close attention to detail, excellent logic, and solution orientation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
