The main purpose of the HR intern role will be to provide support as required across the departments two teams which include Management Advisory & Operations and the Centre of Expertise.

Key Activities

The HR intern will work as part of a high performing team, in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment.

The intern role will be wide-ranging and will cover the following key tasks:

  • Assist and support with permanent recruitment and selection activities across the London branch, including overseeing the process in the internal recruitment portal (Jobs)
  • Assist and support with Early Talent (Intern,VT and Graduate) recruitment and selection acvitivities across the London branch, including advertising roles within Jobs, screening CV’s, inputting contract data etc
  • Provide support with maintaining the Jobs portal
  • Provide support in the updating and uploading of relevant HR processes/guidelines
  • Assist and support the HR Business Partners in various tasks (e.g. minute taking during employee relation meetings)
  • Provide support with maintaining employees’ electronic personnel files
  • Provide support to the Management Advisory & Operations team in day-to-day queries
  • Provide support to the wider HR team on ad-hoc projects where required

Profile

  • Currently studying towards a bachelors or masters in a relevant degree (e.g. HR, Business, Economics etc) or recently graduated within the last 12 months
  • Expected to or have achieved a minimum 2.1 UK bachelor degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 120 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous experience working in an HR department would be advantageous
  • Highly motivated, proactive and an excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent client focus and relationship management skills
