Reporting to the CNX Head of Art & Creative Design and Senior design team, the Junior Designer will help deliver the global creative design vision for CNX. The Junior Designer will work on all campaign deliverables - from print pages, digital assets and animations to mood boards and mock-ups.

Working closely with the Production and Creative Strategy teams, you will assist the senior design team in delivering high quality work across all verticals and all media (including but not limited to digital, video, social, events, print, experiential). You will work in partnership with teams across the business to grow revenue and create excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create a culture of collaboration, performance, respect and excellence
  • Create and deliver first class assets on time and on budget
  • Ensure creative assets delivered to clients are executed in alignment with Condé Nast’s and the client’s expectation
  • Bring passion for new creative thinking and bold ideas to our clients and the team
  • Bring an interest in and knowledge of photographers, stylists, videographers, etc, and be willing to attend - and learn from and support senior members on - photo and video shoots
  • Champion bold, smart ideas and creative approaches to serving our clients’ needs
  • Willingness to question, streamline and improve business processes, in conjunction with your team
  • General administrative support for the Head of Design, as needed 
  • Work with the the design team to develop top-level visual solutions
  • Maintain brand standards across all digital properties including websites, social platforms, newsletters, and videos
  • Design print pages and digital content across all titles at Conde Nast Britain.
  • Ensure creative assets delivered to clients are executed in alignment with Condé Nast’s and the client’s expectation
  • Follow marketplace trends to help deliver creative and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with editorial and commercial teams

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • A portfolio of work demonstrating impressive creative thinking and strong design ability for print and digital media
  • Interest in and passion for learning how to produce and direct stills and video shoots 
  • Passion for photography, typography, art, design culture, technology
  • Proficiency in all relevant art and design software packages - Adobe Creative Suite, CMS, Ceros, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc
  • Passionate about Condé Nast’s brands
  • Experience of working in a digital and/or multi-media environment a bonus
  • A broad interest in the video landscape and social platforms
  • Strong interest in fashion, beauty, culture, travel, lifestyle, homes
