What will you be doing
The GCO Intern role (12 months) will provide value add in a number of roles within the department however primarily will support various projects as part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team. Working as part of the Customer Experience Program the role will work with the project teams across all three global regions in the commercial organisation (Sales & Marketing), with our business partners such as IT and project external suppliers where required.
Specific PMO duties include but not limited to:
- Taking full and direct responsibility to support to manage all aspects of assigned projects activities from initial stages through to completion.
- Ensuring adherence to the Commercial Project lifecycle and respective checklist.
- Under the supervision of the PMO lead or project manager ensuring robust initiation of new projects.
- Providing assistance to ensure projects run on time and budget.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
What skills and experience should you have?
- Analytical mindset, naturally curious and keen to seek out the ‘what’ as well as the ‘why’.
- Methodical and organized.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
- High computer literacy (MS Office).
- Team spirit
- Detail oriented and proactive
