Join us for a series of one hour insight sessions through October and November, focusing on the strengths of Covington.

Applications are open to all students from any degree discipline and in any year of their degree including graduates. You are welcome to apply for all of the available sessions or select sessions individually.

  • Introduction to Covington: An overview of the firm & our opportunities  (5 October)

Join us for an overview of the firm, our strengths, culture and what life as a trainee at the firm looks like.

  • In Conversation with the Graduate Recruitment Team (8 October)

This unstructured informal session, is designed for students to meet with the Graduate Recruitment team to ask any questions or for advice. Students are welcome to attend the whole session or can drop in throughout the session.

  • Covington – Focus on Life Sciences (14 October)

Come and learn more about Covington’s internationally leading Food, Drug, and Device Practice which encompasses the full range of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, veterinary, food and beverage, dietary supplement, and cosmetics issues. We are the only firm ranked “Band 1” for Life Sciences across Chambers’ US, UK, Europe, China, and Global surveys.

  • Covington – Focus on Dispute Resolution (19 October)

Join us for a session focusing on our Dispute Resolution practice. The team work in ground-breaking, complex fields and regularly advise on significant, high-profile cases in litigation and arbitration. The practice also comprises one of the largest and most sophisticated corporate crime and investigations practices in Europe.

  • Covington – Focus on Technology Regulatory (25 October)

This session will be led by our Technology Regulatory team. The team’s expertise spans such diverse topics as data protection, cyber security, copyright and IP, e-commerce, the use of AI, platform regulation, Internet of Things, digital

health, social media, behavioural advertising, geolocation tracking, and biometrics, to name just a few.

  • Covington – Focus on Corporate (5 November)

The Covington Corporate team work with start-ups to established multinationals, their work includes premium cross-border M&A deals, complex worldwide licensing and collaboration transactions, international project development and finance advice, venture capital financing for emerging companies and their investors, capital markets fundraisings, and fund transactions and formations, join us to learn more.

  • Navigating the application process (16 November)

This session will focus on how to navigate the application process and how to successfully approach an interview.

  • Meet our lawyers: virtual networking (1 December)

You will have an opportunity to meet with lawyers from across the London office, in an informal virtual networking session.
