We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrochemistry Engineer to join our team specializing in Li-ion Electrochemistry for our R&T Division in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Experiment and learn about Li-ion cells and what influences their performance
  • Perform and develop new testing methods for exploring these properties
  • Investigate new connection methods for improving test set-up
  • Participate within team of Scientists and Engineers to improve our understanding
  • Write technical reports and participate in information sharing meetings
  • Work with a team to learn about the challenges and opportunities for Li-ion technology in the electrification of commercial vehicles.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Interest in Electrochemistry and Li-ion Batteries.
  • Studying for a degree in Pure and/or Applied Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Good team player and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Strong work ethics. Sense of ownership and responsibility, good organizational and time management skills.
