Role

We are looking for a confident & active HR – Placement Student to join our team which delivers HRSS lines within the EMEA region for our Cummins Business Services business segment in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Complete contractual paperwork and input data into the Data Management System (OneSource);
  • Coordinate training and maintain training records;
  • Arrange onboarding and inductions for new starters as well as conducting Exit Interviews for Leavers
  • Support the department with ongoing projects;
  • Support the team in employee relation issues such as Ethic Investigations and Flexible Working Meetings;

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Management with modules in Human Resources.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential as well as having attention to detail, time management and approachability.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is desirable.
  • Has experience in, and can demonstrate, relevant examples of Cummins core values
