The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT/Business Process and Project Management Placement Student to join our team specializing in Systems/IT for our Distribution business Segment in Huddersfield, United Kingdom, During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Analysis of business problems, using business analysis tools and techniques whilst driving business process improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying, designing, evaluating, and building IT solutions to meet business needs.
  • Leading small/Large-scale project initiatives from inception to completion at varying stages of their project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining existing business / IT systems and understanding their interaction with business processes.
  • Helping deploy new business / IT systems, including testing support, end user training, Supporting Business / IT Compliance and Internal Controls, Providing team coordination, administration and operational support.
  • Involvement in Cross functional / Cross Business Unit / Global initiatives, Participating in community and charity initiatives.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Ability to learn, analyse, and understand business and technical processes.
  • Undertaking IT/Computing, Data analytics or Business/Management related degree, or with an interest/passion in these areas.
  • Must be a team player able to work as part of a team with the ability to manage own workload and balance multiple tasks/projects at one time.
  • General IT proficiency, Good Problem-solving skills.
