The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Validation Placement Student to join our team specializing in Electrified Power for our New Power Business Unit in Milton Keynes. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Obtains input and negotiates with (DVP&R) stakeholders to define technical requirements, optimizing component-based experimental verification plan
  • Create or follow test procedures and execute validation tests
  • Investigates and addresses potential component concerns or issues, owns problem resolution and documents results
  • Applies and supports the improvement of processes such as technical requirements,
  • Applies Cummins tools and processes to enable high quality decision making.
  • Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Capable of Interpreting technical standards, create test plan to achieve objective
  • Capable of processing test data and form a conclusion and recommendations to the team
  • Collaborates - Building partnerships and working with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
