The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our EMEA Aftermarket Planning Regional Operating Team in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Process Mapping and documentation of procedures for Material Planning, Supply Planning and Customer Order Management, with focus on new processes and facilities within the region
  • Use common diagnostic tools to identify areas for improvement and convert to action plans
  • Involvement and support in creating, maintaining and potentially leading supply chain projects across multiple sites within region
  • Development of value stream maps to support and enable continuous improvement activity
  • Application of reports into actions that provide sustainable improvement in KPI’s across the EMEA region
  • Design, Creation and Maintenance of Supply Chain Tools to be used by the team and internal customers. Potentially using Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards a degree in supply chain related area (planning, logistics, purchasing)
  • Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel, SQL scripts, Power BI, and PowerPoint (Access and Visio beneficial)
  • Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively
  • Works well as part of a team and manages workload effectively
