We are looking for an enthusiastic Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7 th July 2025.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Development of Power BI reporting capabilities. Use of Lean, 5S and Six Sigma to enable continuous improvement activity.
  • Use Common processes, tools and information systems to enable quantitative analysis and interpretation of data, ensuring integrity of all data within reports.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and using common diagnostic tools to identify and understand areas for improvement and convert to improvement projects.
  • Involvement and support in implementing and potentially leading Projects that optimize operational efficiency.
  • Using data analysis to identify potential areas for improvements and quantifying the benefits of various improvement proposals (e.g., VSMs)
  • Design, creation and maintenance of robust digital tools to be used by the team and internal stakeholders to increase efficiency and improve operator experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards an Analysis/Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning degree.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge, Machine Learning, SQL would also be beneficial although is not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills are required with an ability to think innovatively in order to solve problems.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
