What can I expect on the programme?

Within the Sales team, you’ll be part of the driving force behind meeting the demands of both long-term deliverables and the operational needs of Danone UK and Ireland. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and be able to see the tangible impact and results from a volume or value perspective.

Working closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, this programme allows you to gain a breadth of exposure to different business functions and accelerate your communication and managerial skillset. Key projects you could be working on include:

• Executing promotional and price management projects such as promotional calendars and analysing promotional activities.
• Leading on customer engagement through in-store campaigns and sustainability / category events.
• Overseeing projects and contributing to the preparation for customer Joint Business Plans, Range Reviews and internal planning.

What we look for

Taking ownership of your personal growth and development at Danone is a key part to this early career programme. Problem solving is key to excelling in this function as you’ll regularly need to provide solutions and overcome obstacles.

We like to see strong communication skills, including the ability to manage and influence stakeholders. No two days are the same in our Sales team, so we need to see your ability to adapt and that you’re comfortable making fundamental decisions that can have an impact on the wider business. Curiosity is a strong quality we like to see in our sales team, through continuously expanding your knowledge of our products and incorporating new sales strategies into your pitches.
