Connect to your career at Deloitte

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

We’re nurturing a culture where everyone belongs, feels supported and heard, and is empowered to make a valuable, personal contribution. So, we want you. The true you. Your own strengths, perspective and personality. You can be sure we’ll take your wellbeing seriously, too. Because it’s only when you’re comfortable and at your best that you can make the kind of impact you, and we, live for.

Connect to your programme

Not sure what you want from your career yet? A placement is a great way to find out more about your potential choices. If you’re in the penultimate year of your course at university or are going on to do a Masters, this three- to six-week placement could be just right for you.

You’ll be doing real work from day one, using what you’ve learnt at university to help solve complex problems for our clients. Not only will this help you grow, it’ll also give you the chance to explore different business areas and see what types of projects really inspire you. And if you impress us, you could end up with a permanent role here when you graduate.

Connect to your skills and qualifications

You’ve achieved great qualifications already, we’ll not only celebrate that but also help you go even further. To thrive in this role from day one, you will need to have obtained or be studying towards a 2:1 or higher in any degree discipline, and have graduated by September 2023.  You will also need to have a minimum of 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017) for your A levels (or equivalent), and a minimum grade 4 (C) in English language, grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

Our requirements vary for a few specialist roles, so make sure to read the programme-specific requirements on your registration form. If you first select a role where you don’t meet the specific requirement, don’t worry – you can go back and choose a new role.

Connect to your career path

In Audit & Assurance, your value starts with underpinning the accuracy of a company’s financial information. Critical information that shareholders use to make vital decisions. You’ll gain a detailed understanding of your client’s business, identify key risks and design strategies to mitigate them. Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients, you’ll cover many diverse industries. As each is faced with such a different set of risks, you’ll learn a huge amount and progress very quickly.

But auditing financial statements is just the beginning. More and more, we’re using intelligent machines to automate and standardise processes, so you and your colleagues are able to focus on your clients and your own development. You’ll have greater freedom to think creatively, work together to solve problems, and offer deeper insights.
