We have several student placements available

Perfect for gaining practical experience of chemistry with a large company which sells to customers worldwide.

You could be working in the product development team where you would have the opportunity to contribute to an actual ink product. During many previous placements, these were later released to the marketplace.

There are also projects available in fundamental understanding of ink chemistry, answering questions such as ‘what are the mechanisms of ink degradation?’ and ‘how can we make inks more environmentally friendly?’

We require students to apply who have interests in the following: Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Colour Science and Analytical Chemistry.

As part of your placement, you will optionally have the opportunity to gain RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) accreditation which recognises the skills and experience you have gained.

All placements are a 1-year contract running from August 2022 until July 2023.
