Strategy Graduate London 2024

DEADLINE 9th January 2024
£32,250

Working in the Strategy team will give you the opportunity to interact with people across the group and get a real feel for the organisation. It will also give you exposure to senior stakeholders, contributing to quarterly and annual board presentations.

You will develop your analytical capabilities, but most importantly you will refine your ability to communicate complex problems through simple compelling narratives. There will be a lot of collaboration throughout your rotations, strong communication skills and the ability to story tell through your work and data will help you along the way!

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll provide valuable analysis on the commercial and market aspects of a deal and by the end of your placement have full visibility of how a transaction goes from a conception all the way through to deal execution.

In the Group Market Acquisitions team you’ll experience different areas of analytical focus and work on a range of interesting projects. You’ll put your naturally curious mindset to work every day as you deliver market analysis for key commodities and markets. You’ll be supporting your Strategy and M&A colleagues as well as several other teams to enable strategy development and support investment and commercial decisions.

About you

Our placement offers are conditional based on your results, so we’re asking that you will have achieved, or be expecting to achieve a 2:1, or 2:2 with a masters in a relevant subject. We think numerical and analytical skills are important for this programme, with an exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage and navigate complexity. There will be a lot of collaboration throughout your rotations, strong communication skills and the ability to story tell through your work and data will help you along the way!
