Join us as a Marketing Graduate on our two year programme starting in September 2021 designed to cover a range of specialisms within our DWF Marketing function. You will develop knowledge, skills and experience to drive our people and shape our colleague experience. You will also work to gain a Level 7 Marketing Leadership (CIM) qualification.

The Programme

Over the course of the two year programme, you will move between different teams within our Marketing division which support the wider business gaining a detailed understanding of the crucial roles that they play at DWF. Those seats will include:

The Brand team supports the evolution and development of our brand. They create and maintain structure and resources which facilitate brand implementation. You will be working with our Brand team on internal and external campaigns. You will support the management and development of the brand resource library, creating the shareable assets that are fundamental to the management of a global brand.

The Digital team is responsible for developing our digital strategy and the management and development of the digital platforms such as our social media, website and eComms. You will have the opportunity to get a good understanding of the digital strategy and support the team in the development and implementation of the digital aspects of campaigns for DWF and our clients.

The Bid team supports the business globally on any opportunity to pitch for new business. In this placement, you will receive exposure to the end-to-end project management of our formal bid opportunities, as well as gaining experience of procurements for bid processes and pitch development.

The Clients and Sectors team supports our eight global sectors and provides a full range of marketing and business development services. You will support on a range of projects including a thought leadership campaign and our key account programme.

Our Communications team manages all of our internal communications, PR and investor relations activity. You will support the team on a wide range of activities – from drafting internal and external communications to reviewing and copy editing material.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a beneficial interest in the news media to ensure a good understanding of the issues and themes that may impact our business and our client's business.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Numerically and analytically sound;
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Project management skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office;
  • A desire to develop and work towards a recognised Marketing qualification;
  • High level of attention to detail with significant emphasis on quality of work;
  • Proven experience of working effectively and collaboratively in a team; and
  • The ability to be resilient and effectively juggle multiple competing priorities.

Minimum qualifications required

As a general rule, you will be expected to meet the following requirements (or equivalents)

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C;
  • 3 A-levels or equivalent at grades C;
  • 2:1 degree in any discipline (preferably Business or Marketing).

There is also a dedicated Emerging Talent & L&D team who will support your academic learning journey and training programme at DWF.
