Content Intern 2022
The Content Intern will work within England Rugby’s Content Team and report directly to our Senior Content Producer. The role will require the candidate to produce written content for our professional teams, our pathway teams and the community game. The role will be predominantly focused on producing written work for EnglandRugby.com including news, features and match reports. The role will also involve support for the Content Team in the production of our weekly live streams in the Allianz Premier 15s
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- NCTJ qualified or a similar written journalism qualification or background
- Experience in producing varied forms of written content
- Experience in using a Content Management System
- Wide knowledge of domestic and international rugby
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and react positively to situations at short notice
- Capable of building trust and close working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work co-operatively as part of a small team
