As a Junior Project Manager, you will provide the support to major projects under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or fully manage smaller, less complex projects.Projects will be related to the deployment of network equipment or process improvement projects to enhance our project delivery.
Abilities

- Establish trust with project staff and develop strong working relationships.
- Identify cross functional dependencies and work with relevant department stakeholders to co-ordinate and prioritize activities.
- Have a good understanding of IT and Telecommunications terminology and practices
- Manage escalations with project stakeholders.
- Resolve issues by identifying the root cause and implementing robust lasting solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Typical daily tasks
- Task Management – ensuring the project resources execute against plans within agreed time frame.
- Issue Management – Working with resources to ensure issues are managed to guidelines.
- Supporting Project Managers to update their project plans and their status to ensure information is always correct and current
- Liaising between Project Managers, Engineers and Supply chain to secure the procurement of equipment and services,
- Coordinate project wash-up reviews.
- Provide input to the development of key learnings and manage actions to address them.
- Identify areas of improvement, document issues seen and provide suggestions on how to address it.
- Manage mini-improvement projects
Skills
Essential
- 2 Years working supporting Project Managers or working in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Good understanding of MS Office
- Good understanding or MS Teams

Who you are
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your Bachelor’s or Master's degree studies (Graduation between December 2022-September 2023)
- Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system)
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
- Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
- Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
