As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the companies’ business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.

Role

As Junior Security Analyst/Engineer you will either join :

The Offensive Security team

Within which you will :

  • Penetration testing & Red team exercises : plan, manage, coordinate , perform, and analyse penetration tests and test reports
  • Purple team exercises: plan, perform, and analyse tests
  • Work with developers on source code develop process and use scanning tools to find coding issues
  • Present and discuss outcome with stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
  • Advice how to remediate any detected security issues

The Cyber Threat and Analysis Response team

Within which you will :

  • Collecting security threat and exposure information by Cyber Threat Intelligent (CTI) services, Vulnerability Management Services
  • Consume and analysis CTI such as indicators of compromise, tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Evaluate credibility, validity and relevance of collected data/information/intelligence
  • Discuss with stakeholders (technical and non-technical)

The Vulnerability Management team

Within which you will :

  • Conduct detailed analysis of Security threats and exposures and make recommendations for remediation and patching.
  • Conduct different projects related to vulnerability assessment.
  • Plan and perform relevant vulnerability tests on computer systems, networks or web-based applications across the network infrastructure

The CIRT team

Within which you will:

  • Management of the Cyber Security Incident Management to ensure timely mitigation and escalate to appropriate incident resolver groups;
  • Manage the third-tier incident handling – remediation in collaboration with the IT resolver team;
  • Execution of  forensic investigations into potential or confirmed incidents in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Execution of “malicious document”/ malware analysis to ensure timely proactive mitigation

The Cyber Network Security Engineering team

Within which you will :

  • Technical product ownership of multiple key security solutions like Web Application Firewalls, Reverse Proxies, PKI insuring infrastructure protection, production availability, network & application security, Identity and access management and data protection
  • Install & Support security products, resolve incidents
  • Participate in projects related to security and business.

The Identity and Access Management team

Within which you will:

  • Guarantee the proper execution of access management services.
  • Provide guidance to the end-user in request management for access management.
  • Support the delivery of a modern identity and Access Management toolset.

Skills

You have :

  • An IT, Science, Civil engineering or Commercial engineering related degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interest in cyber security
  • Interest in Finance, capital markets
  • Ability to quickly adapt to an international and diverse company
  • Self-learning ability (you're ready to dive into new technologies and extend your own expertise)

No work experience is required. Any relevant practical experience in the domain (e.g. thesis, internships) is an asset.
