We are currently seeking a Graduate Analytical Scientist to join our rapidly expanding Analytical Support Group.  Are you excited by problem solving and Analytical Chemistry? The role will be varied and challenging, with the opportunity to progress and take on extra responsibility.

Job Description

  • Perform a wide range of analyses, under supervision, using HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MSD/FID and ICP-MS.
  • Problem solving analytical tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with the Eurofins Selcia Quality System.
  • Maintain secure and accurate records of all work in accordance with company procedures.
  • Report on work verbally and in writing as required.
  • Maintain and increase analytical technical knowledge.
  • Assist in establishing new analytical techniques.
  • Maintain relevant laboratory equipment as directed.
  • Work as part of a laboratory-based team.

Qualifications

Entry level for a Chemistry Graduate, or Graduate in a science related discipline, with a demonstrable interest in Analytical Chemistry.  Candidates with a BTEC Diploma/HND will be considered with up to two years industrial experience within the Life Sciences Industry.

A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to: successfully deliver results within tight deadlines; a keen attention to detail; excellent inter-personal and communication skills combined with a strong customer focused approach; and the ability to co-ordinate within interdisciplinary teams are important to this position.  In return, Eurofins Selcia offers an excellent comprehensive total reward package.
