We're on the hunt for a highly motivated Graduate Engineer, Research & Development, to join our innovative, remote team and embark on an exciting journey in the realm of AI.

You'll be working with a team of home-based developers and will be mentored and coached by a developer who has been on the forefront of AI for years. His work helped evaluagent to become the first company in its field to launch an Open AI API integration.

As a Graduate R&D Engineer, you'll be instrumental in pioneering the next generation of AI-powered capabilities that will revolutionise contact centres globally. Your role

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to develop next-gen AI capabilities.
• Research emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in AI, ML, and data science.
• Design and implement algorithms, models, and systems to solve complex problems.
• Develop and enhance AI-driven products from ideation to deployment.
• Conduct experimental design, data collection, and analysis to evaluate AI algorithms.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and share insights with the team.
• Engage in knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous learning to foster innovation.

Your qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Your experience:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, PHP, Java, or C++, with a knack for turning ideas into code.
• Familiarity with AI principles and methodologies, with a willingness to dive deep into the unknown without fear of failure.
• Previous experience in DevOps or related fields is advantageous but not required

• Salary: in the region of £35,000.

Interview outline

We plan to have 3 stages, all virtual:

1. Getting to know each other, cultural video call with our People Team
2. Interview with our CTO, Garth Hinkel, and our Principal Engineer, Will Bennison. This will include a task focussed element.
3. Coffee chat with some team members

Whilst we are open to applications from graduates around the UK, preference will be given to North East-based graduates: With team mates in your area, collaboration and meeting up are always within face 2 face reach.
