Evercore Intern positions offer career experiences that we believe are unmatched in the industry. A position at Evercore affords a truly hands-on experience, working side-by-side with senior executives as they craft strategies, create opportunities and execute transactions on behalf of their clients. Working at Evercore is an opportunity to learn the investment banking business from executives who played key roles in shaping the industry over the past two decades and continue to architect current-day best practices and industry standards. Positions are offered in Evercore's Advisory, Institutional Equities, and Private Funds Group businesses. We provide rigorous training and ongoing mentorship activities to ensure access to the firm's senior executives across disciplines and industry sectors.

Intern positions are designed to provide individuals with a broad range of experiences. Responsibilities vary by business and may include projects in acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, joint ventures, private equity, research, and sales and trading activities. As part of an Evercore team, you will participate in financial modeling and quantitative analysis, valuation issues, industry analysis and markets research, due diligence, as well as preparation for and attendance at client meetings.

About the programme

Our Summer Internship Programme is designed to give driven undergraduates an insight into working life at a top independent advisory firm. As a Summer Intern, you will experience our unique culture, gain an invaluable insight into how our firm works, and develop skills and knowledge essential for anyone considering a career in investment banking. As part of the Evercore team, you will participate in finance modelling and quantitative analysis, valuation issues, industry analysis and markets research, due diligence, as well as preparation for and attendance at client meetings.

Programme structure

Following one week of technical and industry-based training, you will become a valued member of a sector team, providing the vital support required in a dynamic industry. Midway through the programme, you will have an informal catch-up to ensure that you are receiving the exposure and experience expected at the start. This is also an opportunity for teams to provide feedback on your performance.

What to expect

We have discovered talented, motivated and professional individuals through our previous summer internship programmes and full-time offers will be awarded to top performers. Throughout the internship, there will be opportunities for you to network with the wider business.
