Job Description

Experian is a global leader in Data and Analytics. We have access to award-winning solutions that support both businesses and consumers alike.

Our Affordability products assist by blending bureau and open data sources to get the best view of an individual. By having a clearer view, businesses can then ensure they offer affordable products and services to their customers.

Based in our Glasgow office, you’ll begin your journey by learning about Data Annotation – The process of labelling data in the correct format.

As your progress, you’ll then take on more responsibilities growing your career as a fully-fledged Data Scientist.

One day you could be reviewing bank account transaction data, and turning this into valuable insights – the next you could delivering a proof of concept to a client on how our products could benefit them

On this 2-year Graduate programme you will learn how to:

  • Develop and maintain data processes and models to support Experian’s Affordability data products. Things such as: CastScore, Income Insights and CaaS
  • Create, review and maintain datasets for use in Experian data products
  • Work with data science colleagues to peer review and constructively challenge work done in the team
  • Work with clients to gather data requirements, execute proof of concept activities, and provide expertise to support the usage of Experian data products

You will achieve this by working with data science colleagues to create, review and maintain datasets for use in Experian data products. Your input is highly valuable, which is why we encourage you to constructively challenge work done in our team. You may have a bold new idea or spot an improvement others overlook.

We see Graduates as the future of our organisation meaning your potential will be celebrated and rewarded here at Experian.

If you choose to join us, you can expect industry training, wide-reaching career opportunities and a wealth of support through our Early Careers Network, buddy, line manager & mentor scheme.

We promise a safe inclusive culture that brings out the best of you. Experian is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and we take affirmative action to create a more inclusive and equitable world of work. We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, ethnicity, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, Veteran status or whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.

Our concept is simple. We believe in expanding horizons – it’s what makes Experian a global leader and a Top UK Tech Employer.
