Expleo are looking to speak with Graduate Engineers to support new vehicle development at a renowned Automotive Research & Development centre in the UK on a permanent basis, by generating and managing the implementation of various cost saving concepts, which can be used to help our client to excel within the international markets they currently operate in.
The Role
This role will give a recently graduated Engineer, exposure to the innovative automotive projects being run across the business, along with the opportunity to develop working relationships with engineers with decades of vehicle development experience. The focus of this role is to identify cost reduction opportunities within the Research and Development centre, through technical analysis and internal benchmarking, and to subsequently determine the sustainability and suitability of these ideas by liaising with the engineers. This will also involve the preparation of reports, to be put forward to senior management with each proposal, to ensure that the necessary stakeholders are aware of the impact of each proposed cost reduction idea.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, we are looking to speak to engineers who have recently graduated and are looking to pursue a career within an automotive engineering environment, or experienced engineers who have been involved in automotive cost reduction, support & analysis activities.
