DEADLINE 31st August 2022
Starting at £21,400

Help companies and individuals understand the impact of global mobility on their taxes whilst progressing towards becoming a qualified tax advisor.

People Advisory Services - Mobility and Reward

The future of work means a global workforce and continual change. So, as part of the Tax team’s People Advisory Services (PAS), we look at how businesses reward and relocate employees around the world – and how it affects their tax.

Technology in PAS - Mobility and Reward

Technology is at the forefront of the solutions we offer to our clients and we embrace innovative thinking across our teams.

What will you be doing?

  • Working in either Mobility or Reward within our UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS) teams
  • Assisting with global tax advisory and compliance projects
  • Communicating directly with local or global clients
  • Building professional relationships with your clients

Are you eligible to apply?

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

We welcome applications from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role. We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background. This allows us to give you the maximum credit for your achievements, assessing whether you have overachieved in light of your personal circumstances.

How’s it structured?

Your development is our priority.

All graduates in Mobility and Reward study for the ATT qualification. The first couple of months will be dedicated to your ATT training, enabling you to develop your technical knowledge and build long-lasting relationships with your peer group. You will then join your team in either Financial Services (FS) or UK & Ireland (UK&I) and, after an EY induction, start working on client projects from day one.

Throughout the programme, you’ll have lots of support and training, as well as opportunities to learn from senior colleagues and to collaborate with colleagues across our EY network as part of a diverse and globally connected team. If you pass your ATT exams and are keen, you can start to study for the Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification and may even be able to study for other qualifications later in the programme.

In the workplace you’ll take on greater responsibilities, so that by the end of the programme you’re likely to have enough knowledge and experience to find yourself promoted to the next stage of your career.
