Your role

Are you motivated to combine your technical skills with customer interaction? Are you keen to enhance your technical studies with professional Certifications? If so, then our Technical Internship could be the right opportunity to initiate your career!

Reporting to the Manager, Consulting, you’ll be a member of our highly regarded Global Technology Hub (GTH) within our EMEA Professional Services Consulting team. You will work very closely with a Senior Consultant who will be your mentor and provide guidance to help you thrive whilst you are part of our team.

This will be a paid Internship for 12-months working full time hours. Our team will be based from our Chertsey, Surrey, UK offices with a hybrid work arrangement to combine both office and home based working. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to covert to a full time role with F5 if you do well and if you enjoy working with us.

Your typical day may involve

  • Shadowing and assisting our GTH Consultants to build labs and all related documentation.
  • Attending remote classroom and online self-directed training material to build and maintain a level of proficiency in F5 products and technologies.
  • Support the handling of Trusted Advisor Program (TAP) tickets and mini technical projects.
  • Studying to obtain and maintain F5 Certifications.
  • Under guidance of your senior consultant, interact with customers.
  • During the second half of your Internship, you may take on some basic remote customer engagements.

You are

  • Studying or recently completed (within the last 12 months) a Computer Science based or related technical degree.
  • Someone who has superb communication skills as you will use these to interact with our internal teams and our customers.
  • Passionate about technology and have an enthusiasm to learn.
  • Able to make good decisions – using sound judgement to tackle problems independently whilst also knowing when to ask for additional support.
