Human Resources takes a leadership role and provides service in support of Fiservs vision by promoting the concept that our associates are our most valuable resource and will be treated as such. The Human Resources Department acts as a catalyst to enable all Fiserv associates to contribute at optimum levels toward our shared success.

What we do

We have various HR Teams in our Basildon office

  • HR Business Partners who work with the business leaders to implement business strategy and develop staff
  • HR Operations and Payroll that manage the operational and transactional aspects of the employee life cycle, from onboarding through to termination
  • Talent Acquisition that strive to attract the best qualified candidates to Fiserv and encourage the value of diversity in the workplace
  • Compensation and Benefits that ensure Fiserv offers a competitive salary and benefit package
  • Learning and development that develop the full potential of our workforce by providing training and development for career enhancement

What you'll do

  • As an intern you will have the opportunity to engage with the wider HR department and business to understand how they work together to support Fiservs Vision.
  • You will work on real world projects that will have a positive impact on our business and our employees
  • Most of your time will be spent supporting a busy recruitment function which will involve attracting and bringing in new talent to Fiserv. This will entail updating job descriptions, taking screening calls and arranging interviews for prospective candidates. Coming up with new ideas to attract candidates to our business (especially early careers e.g apprentices, interns and gradates) and providing your insight and fresh approach on how we can improve our brand in the market with early career professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Progression towards completion of a degree in 2022 with demonstrated academic achievement. Must be working towards a 2.1 or above. We are open to degree areas, but are particularly interested in speaking to University students studying degrees in business, management or HR.
  • Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and have a technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorisation and pass background checks
