The Institutional Group at Fisher Investments Europe (FIE) is looking for an Associate to join the Request for Proposal (RFP) team. Reporting to your Team Leader, as an RFP Associate you'll play an important role in FIIG's sales and service efforts with some of the largest investors in the world by coordinating and working with different teams and departments to complete customised proposals (in-depth questionnaires) for prospective and current clients.

Completing an RFP is comparable to managing a small project from start to finish. Content and responses in RFPs use FIIG's proprietary suite of firm information. Additional customising of responses results from working directly with Relationship Managers to understand and address prospective or current client needs. Through this process, you'll develop a large internal network of subject matter experts across departments firm-wide.

The Day-to-Day

  • Work with other departments to respond to prospective client and client questions about our organisation, strategies, investment philosophy, investment process and more
  • Coordinate the RFP process by managing timelines and expectations with all relevant partners
  • Assist global Relationship Managers in providing unparalleled service to prospective clients and clients by providing accurate and custom firm information
  • Support global expansion programmes as additional strategy and vehicle capabilities are offered
  • Coordinate long-term, impactful projects aimed at driving FIIG's organic growth
  • Additional daily tasks include updating firm profiles in external third-party databases (i.e. eVestment, Morningstar) and completing team-level projects

Your Qualifications

  • Strong organization skills and an interest in developing your project management skills
  • Motivated to use and improve skills in communication
  • Succeed in balancing timelines and deadlines with multiple team members
  • Interest to learn more about FIIG's business model and investment process
  • Comfortable working with detail and ambiguity
