The health communications team at Four is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and ambitious graduate to join their expanding communications and patient advocacy team working across the agency’s key health client accounts.

As an independent agency we offer the opportunity for free thinking, communications and medical education planning, driving and pitching new ideas to clients, and really delving into communications campaign performance to drive behaviour change in health.

Four is a full service agency offering the successful candidate the additional benefit of collaborative working with creative and PR teams to grow knowledge and experience across the full marketing and communications spectrum.

The role will involve media relations/PR, patient advocacy programmes, influencer engagement and medical education across a variety of audiences including healthcare professionals, patient charities and patients themselves. Our key client sectors are a mix of Global and UK-based organisations and span ‘big pharma’, small biotech companies, med tech, patient charities and the NHS itself.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has clear thinking and scientific analysis, great with words, a passion for engaging with a range of audiences, bags of initiative, good interpersonal skills and a ‘will do’ attitude. The ideal applicant will have a science or journalism qualification and/or a passion for health and science communication.

  • Ideally the candidate will be a recent graduate
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to express ideas clearly
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Commercial awareness
  • Creativity and ability to generate ideas
  • Good organisational skills
  • Very good attention to detail
  • Passionate about communication and ambition to develop new skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • A working knowledge of social media channels

Flexible working policy

Four has a fully flexible working policy across all its locations and offices. This means staff can work at home at any time unless they have face-to-face commitments such as client meetings and events, team meetings or training, where they will be required to be in the office or another location.
