Key accountabilities

Commercial assistance and administration of the AMP8 framework with Southern Water, reporting into the Commercial Manager. To assist with the following:

  • Compilation of application for payment summary to the Client.
  • Checking of Client payment certificates and retention summaries.
  • Raising of monthly invoices to the Client, maintaining payment summaries and cash management.
  • Use cost data to produce graphical analysis of scheme expenditure profiles.
  • Support on external and internal audits.
  • Compilation of scheme turnover and cost forecast summaries.
  • Manage the overhead cost ledgers including identifying and managing accruals.
  • Manage staff costs and timesheet entries.
  • Review account transactions including staff costs, plant returns, material receipts, GRNs.
  • Liaison with Finance Dept. for substantiation of ledger entries and ledger cost journals required.
  • Liaise with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and other stakeholders regarding all aspects of accounting and costing.
  • Liaison with the Client on commercial matters such as substantiation to costs.
