Support the development of Service Operations processes and procedures. Contribute to the design and deployment of maintenance strategies towards delivery of technical effort offshore.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify GE Leadership Behaviours - Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency, Deliver with Focus
  • Champion for GE Lean program and supporting the implementation of LEAN principles.
  • Development of an Engineering related project that leads to a measurable improvement.
  • Support the development of Operational Processes and creation of Standard Work.
  • Support the development of Planning and Coordination Processes to enable high levels of Performance.
  • Participate in Continual Improvement workshops to support reaching the next level of performance.
  • Facilitate Windfarm performance feedback into sales models enabling high confidence competitive bids.
  • Investigate and contribute towards reducing OPEX and CAPEX during service operations of the   windfarm through digital analysis and solution development.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives in cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Support End to End development of a Production Based Availability Operational plan that amplifies the synergies between operator and GE through advanced setup. (One Day Service, Stay Ashore” Digital strategies and tooling, Employee Development Strategies, merged Stores and Coordination).
  • Synergy development and deployment with Customer by Integration of Extra Services as part of the Production Based Operational plan.

About you 

  • Completion of  3 years of a 4-year degree level course in an Engineering related topic or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Language(s): English negotiation level

Location:

  • Primarily located at the Port of Tyne South Shields.
  • Required to travel regionally and internationally.
