Job description

The Client Service Executive is responsible for both product quality and gaining insight from GfK’s Point of Sales (POS) data. Working closely with other teams across the business, the Client Service Executive will ensure our clients (internal and external) receive a best-in-class experience through fast and accurate market research and data delivery.

You will have a keen mind and be intellectually curious to understand trends and communicate your insights to internal clients’ queries, making complex data easier to understand. Managing a range of markets, your role will also be to ensure that our product maintains high standards of accuracy and that the latest developments are reflected in our reporting.

Key competencies

  • Quality Control – the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience with Quality Control process in line with best practice while working to agreed schedules.
  • Data Research – the successful candidate will demonstrate ability to investigate and resolve data queries raised by external clients or the internal Market Intelligence (MI) team.  The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with internal or external clients and from their research proactively share clear understanding of market information and trends.
  • Client-Centric Partner– the candidate will need to build a sound understanding of the client’s requirements, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch and receipt of client deliverables. The candidates will also ensure accurate and timely maintenance of required system documentation.
  • Agile Entrepreneur – supporting the Client Service Manager and Director in developing team culture and behaviour change in line with the team strategy.  Seek opportunities to reduce waste and improve team workflow processes by guiding process improvements across the teams
  • Delivery-focused Innovator – Develop a solid understanding of retail audit methodology and GfK systems and building market knowledge on all GfK related products and panels. Supporting clients and retailers as specified by your line manager by providing specified weekly and monthly data production.

This role will also support the Client Service Manager with the following

  • Ensuring data quality is in line with GfK international standards and those standards set by the Research Director.
  • Supporting in the preparation of client presentations and workshops using standardised outputs.
  • Gathering all information necessary to undertake client data reconciliation.
  • Ensuring the business group follows GfK international standards.
  • Ensuring methodologies and deliverables follow GfK international standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to prepare presentations.
  • Enjoys learning new aspects of the role.
  • Attention to detail and high quality standards are essential.
  • Excellent task and time management skills.
  • Highly proficient within Microsoft Office suite of tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams.
