As a graduate in our Business Consulting team, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their business issues and collaboratively form solutions. The constantly evolving landscape calls for an approach that puts what’s right first, so you will need to push ideas harder and ask the difficult questions to give clients the assurance they need to support their ambitions and growth.
The Financial Services Business Consulting team provide market-leading consulting and advisory services to Financial Services Institutions. The team advise clients on a variety of backdrops, such as transformational change, company transactions, distress, or regulatory changes.
You'll spend a lot of your time analysing the numbers to gain a greater understanding behind the organisations you're working with, which you'll use to give them the type of advice they'll need to help them achieve their business goals. There’ll be challenges along the way, but you’ll be supported and able to meet each one with a solution. That’s how you excel here.
A look into your future
Our three-year graduate programme is designed to take you on a journey from graduate to professionally qualified. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll experience during your first three years:
- You’ll work as a team to help clients address complex change scenarios across the entirety of their business to achieve sustainable success
- You’ll support the Financial Services Business Consulting team in the creation of proposals for clients in the insurance, banking, and capital markets
- You’ll support client engagements, which will include project management, office activities, and business or technical analysis
- Responsibility from early in your career, taking ownership for interesting and challenging client work
- You’ll develop a strong internal and external network to learn from
- You'll spend much of your time doing your research around the clients you're working with trying to understand their business and work as part of the team to provide advice and insights at every stage of the corporate lifecycle
- You’ll contribute to thought leadership for the main propositions of business transformation, digital transformation and risk and regulation. This may include gaining exposure to live regulatory and market initiatives such as the London Interbank Offered Rate (IBOR) replacement, and new technologies such as distributed ledgers and cloud
- On the job learning, alongside a structured training programme
- Time to study and revise for your exams, supported by us all the way to complete the ACA professional qualification
