As part of the Hardware team aligned to general hardware and project delivery work, your role would be to help with the efficient delivery of products across a multitude of sports that stretch to every corner of the world.

You will be working to build different Hawk-Eye systems in a variety of ways, maintain demonstration kits for referee training events, perform research and development tasks to better Hawk-Eye’s ever-expanding hardware pool and help to fabricate bespoke equipment.

As a person, you will be an independent go-getter with good communication and organisational skills, with a keen interest in learning and collaborating with the team. You will be able to approach tasks methodically and have good problem-solving skills. Every day will be different, so you will need to be proactive in your approach to work, with the ability to change between tasks and manage your time effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Performing system build and configuration tasks as part of overall project delivery
  • Carrying out basic allocated research and development work 
  • Performing manufacturing tasks in a workshop environment with a focus on quality & safety
  • Working on and maintaining the Hawk-Eye System Demonstration Kits.
  • Responsible for the availability, tidiness and cleanliness of the Production Floor areas as required
  • Other reasonable duties directed by your manager
  • Documentation creation and adaptation based on improvements or changes
  • Adopting the department processes and common procedures. 

Skills, knowledge and expertise

  • An eagerness to learn Hawk-Eye hardware, systems;
  • Good organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good time management;
  • Can work independently or work as part of a larger team;
  •  Must demonstrate a concise, methodical & organised approach to resolving issues and supplying clear solutions;
  • The role requires a thirst and eagerness to learn new skills, gaining new knowledge to cover the continuously evolving hardware technologies used by all departments;
  • A keen interest in Sports Technology and Broadcast Systems
