This role sits within the Insight team at Hearst. This is a pivotal and central department, providing key insights into consumer and media behaviours and measuring the impact of our commercial partnerships.

About the role

 As the Insight and Advertising Effectiveness Assistant, you will be working on the busy advertising effectiveness area of the Insight team – attending client briefings, scheduling surveys to run on Hearst’s internal consumer panel, analysing the results of these surveys and creating insightful results presentations for internal and external audiences.

You will also be working closely with the Head of Insight, unearthing and delivering insights into our audiences and our media for our internal editorial and commercial teams. The successful candidate will become familiar with all of the major media surveys within the UK and become expert in digital audience measurement.

About you

  • This is a role for a graduate, or a candidate with up to a year’s relevant experience within a media owner or a media agency.
  • The successful candidate will have an interest in media and in developing both quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • A degree in a relevant subject (ideally one which includes some modules of research e.g. psychology, politics etc) is ideal, as is a talent for excellent organisation and a keen eye for detail.
  • You should have a desire to bring relevant and sparkling insights to help our clients understand the impact of their commercial campaigns with Hearst, and to help our internal teams to understand more about our audiences.
