About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Graduate is responsible for weekly profit reporting into group, performance reporting to seek profit initiatives and factory performance improvements, in addition to stock management.

This is a permanent role, and if successful you will be enrolled into our 12-month Graduate Training scheme which will support your ongoing professional learning & development. Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation and reporting of weekly profit and loss accounts
  • Performance reporting, working with operations to understand past results and forecast future results
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to identify profit initiatives
  • Assist the financial controller in implementing new management accounts reporting throughout the business
  • Revenue analysis across key financial metrics
  • Stock management reporting and tracking
  • Preparation of annual budgets
  • Lead Key operational variance meetings to key stakeholders weekly
  • Reconcile & prepare monthly balance sheets (stock)
  • Maintain records and support auditing efforts

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy and Finance/Maths/Economics/Business (or related subjects) should have or be on track to get at least a 2:1
  • Ideally have a year in industry experience in a relevant finance-based role
  • Must be highly numerate with experience working in excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Commercially aware
  • Driven to achieve results and improvements
  • Must be a core team player, able to work cross functions
