About the Programme

The Business Development Graduate Programme takes place over twelve-months where the colleague will spend the first three months experiencing all functions within our business development operations including responding to pre-qualification questionnaires, method statement writing, attending bidders’ days, GIS mapping, project research and client presentations.

After the initial three-month period, you will specialise in the production of written quality responses, drawing on your existing creative/reportage writing skills, to tenders and service questionnaires.

Within the first 12 months, there will be the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on an idverde contract to develop a better understanding of the business.

  • You must have, or expect to gain, good A Levels or a degree related to the role, such as:
    • English
    • Modern Languages
    • Mathematics
    • Chemistry
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Physics
    • Geography
    • Geology
  • Demonstrate previous work experience during your career so far, either as part of an integrated degree course or extra-curricular activity
  • You must possess excellent written communication skills, be highly numerate and have excellent IT skills, specifically, competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel
