The IHS Markit Global Subsurface Team is engaged in providing gold standard geological data and analytics to Oil & Gas Industry.
Your role
You will be a key member of the IHS Markit Global Subsurface team. Reporting directly into the Director of Unconventional Resources.
You will drive in house applications development and participate in geological and play modelling and hydrocarbon resource estimates.
Key responsibilities include:
- To immediately start working with Visual Basic on inhouse developed Add-Ins tools in Excel 365
- To immediately start working with Python on inhouse developed mapping tools in ArcGIS
- To participate in geological and play modelling, hydrocarbon resource estimates using Kingdom, ArcGIS, and Excel Add-Ins

You are an automation enthusiast, and you enjoy making an impact towards enhancing inhouse developed applications
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Studying towards a BSc or higher degree in Earth Science or related subject
- Knowledge with Python and ArcGIS
- Knowledge with Visual Basics and Excel
