The role

This role is a 12-weeks internship starting in July 2022. Based at our offices in Granta Park, Cambridge. Our program focuses on meaningful project work, professional and personal development, in addition to providing networking opportunities.

  • Our team works within the Open Innovation Group at Illumina, providing customers with collaboration opportunities with Illumina’s R&D
  • We work across the complete range of Illumina’s products to provide novel technology options to help drive new and exciting applications of our technology

Role and responsibilities

  • Library prep, both manual and automated with liquid handlers
  • Sequencing using a range of Illumina platforms
  • Custom or non-standard workflows, e.g. modified library prep

About you

  • Basic wet-lab skills
  • Basic knowledge of NGS applications

The Selection Process

  • Submit application before 10th December 2021 to be considered
  • Longlisted candidates will be invited to submit a video application
  • Shortlisted candidates must be available to interview 10th January 2022 onwards
  • Successful Applicants will be invited onsite to meet their teams April 11th, 2022 prior to starting in July 2022
