ITP Aero in Whetstone, Leicester is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Software Engineer to join the software development team and to work on the development of our software product ESATAN-TMS.

About ESATAN-TMS

ESATAN-TMS is the de-facto standard for thermal analysis in the space industry.

The role

A graduate software developer with experience in Java and C++ on a permanent basis. The role will split between working from home and the office.

You will take responsibility for

  • Write well designed, testable and efficient code
  • Ensure that all designs are compliant with the specifications
  • Support continuous improvements by enquiring about other methods and technologies and showcasing these for architectural reviews
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

Technical Skills Required

  • Experience developing in C++.
  • Experience developing in Java or C# or similar.
  • Understanding of lifecycle models for software development and software engineering practices.
  • Ideally knowledge of graphic libraries, such as OpenGL.
