In fact, we make a promise to our clients and each other to create greater possibilities together. We’re looking for people who have fresh perspectives. Who can come together to share ideas, listen and challenge each other to achieve better solutions for our clients.

Your team

As part of the global Performance Measurement, Analytics and Reporting (“PMAR”) organization, our team provides comprehensive investment performance and analytics business intelligence to help Invesco understand its fund results relative to peers and indexes.  Our key stakeholders include Investments, Marketing, Senior Management and Fund Boards.

Your role

We’re searching for our next Data Analyst with focus on Global Performance Reporting. You serve as subject matter specialist for peer ranking and ex-post risk statistics.

Other key responsibilities could be to build less complex new reports using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports or Excel that are insightful, clear and tailored for specific audience. You will implement subsequent improvements and own ongoing maintenance of updating data, adding new funds/benchmarks, etc. as needed.

You also will support projects to test and reconcile statistics loaded into data repositories or dashboards, having an understanding of requirements, legacy/future methodologies and reconcile relative to source system. You will build and maintain local data repositories for information not in IT-supported repositories as needed. You will identify and recommend potential systems enhancements.

Sound interesting?

You’ll need to have strong Data wrangling skills (e.g. data sourcing, integrating and calculating statistics using Alteryx, SQL & Excel). Previous experience of the investment industry, investment performance, analytics statistics and related would be helpful.

You are experienced in creating interactive dashboards and static format reports that are insightful yet concise leveraging tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports and/or Excel.

You can optimally manage multiple deadlines and have a strong attention to detail. You are able to communicate clearly and concisely with varied audiences including Investments, Risk, IT and Marketing, both verbally and in writing. You are an independent self-starter, positive can-do attitude that overcomes challenges and barriers – including ability to succeed in partnering with colleagues in different locations and time zones. You are also an innovative idea-generator with a passion for identifying/implementing sound, pragmatic solutions and troubleshooting issues. You have strong diplomacy skills to foster positive relationships with cross-functional and cross-regional project teams both in-person and remotely. You have a high degree of curiosity and a desire to learn, including taking on results-oriented new assignments.

Work experience in an investment performance, analytics or similar role in the financial services industry and hold a degree in Finance, Engineering, Information Technology or related field is required. CFA level 1 holder or equivalent knowledge could be helpful.
