Ever thought about a career in Global Security within an Investment Management firm?

Invesco is driven by a pure focus on investment. It’s all we do.  We focus on doing work that matters and being a firm that gives a voice to every employee. In fact, we make a promise to our clients and each other to create greater possibilities together. We’re looking for people who have fresh perspectives. Who can come together to share ideas, listen and challenge each other to achieve better solutions for our clients.

We’re currently recruiting for some exciting opportunities for a 12 month industrial placement, starting this summer, within our Global Security team.

Your role

The Global Security Analyst will work closely with peers throughout Global Security and will be a key contributor, working with various stakeholders and diverse global teams, to define, operate and continuously improve Invesco’s approach to global security.

Interested in getting involved? You’ll be supporting global security functions on special projects, using your reporting and research skills to identify trends and to identify key initiatives to improve processes and security capabilities.  We’re looking for people who love learning and who have a diverse range of interests; people who can provide different perspectives and ideas.

You’ll need to be available for a full 12 month placement with us as part of your degree, and be studying in a field that demonstrates knowledge of cyber security, operational resilience, privacy, computer science or information security.  You’ll have outstanding research skills and you’ll love using your analytical capabilities to identify and investigate issues and trends/risks.  You’ll be capable of working both independently and as part of our diverse and successful team.

How to Apply

Whilst a CV is important, we’d like to get to know you as more than just a name on a piece of paper. As well as attaching your CV, we’d like you to address a few questions that are important to us in a Word or PDF document:

  1. What interests you about this placement?
  2. Introduce us to a topic you know about and tell us why it interests you
  3. What do you see as your key skill set and why is that applicable to this internship?
  4. What has your work experience and/or education taught you so far about yourself?
  5. What is your proudest achievement?

This gives you a great opportunity to shine and helps us better understand your motivations!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider your application without this submission.

Applications close on Sunday 23rd January 2022.
