At IQVIA, we believe in pushing the boundaries of human science and data science to make the biggest impact possible – to help our customers create a healthier world. The advanced analytics, technology solutions and contract research services we provide to the life sciences industry are made possible by our 67,000+ employees around the world who apply their insight, curiosity and intellectual courage every step of the way.

What we do

IQVIA provides scientific services spanning clinical trials, real world evidence, and consulting in all areas of the lifecycle in the development drug and non-drug interventions. The IQVIA Patient Centered Endpoints (PCE) team exists to ensure that the patient's experiences of disease and treatment are well understood and utilized to measure outcomes that matter to patients in clinical trials and observational studies.

This requires the design of scientifically rigorous and technologically-informed research which provides insightful findings. The PCE team therefore look to the fields of psychology, sociology, anthropology, epidemiology, statistics, psychometrics, and medicine to provide a theoretical and practical base for this research. This leads to utilization of a variety of approaches to incorporate the patient perspective into clinical research, including Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COA), qualitative interviews, patient preference studies; and to analyze and disseminate this information.
