About the role

Provost Vets is a 1st Opinion practice based in Fife who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet.  They have 7 Vets (3 part time) and 4 Nurses (1 part time).

Normal hours will be 40 hours per week Monday – Friday between 8:30am to 7pm. 1:5 weekends, 1 duty shift per week 930am - 7pm. Both branch sites are loan working 1st opinion work. No OOH allowing great work-life balance.

Provost Vets is a friendly and supportive practice with a wonderful team and great facilities and equipment such as digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound and a multiparameter as well as having fantastic wellbeing initiatives and communication both inside and outside the practice such as regular team and department meetings, activity days alongside a lunch on the day and also Christmas get togethers.

The New Graduate will be supported by being allocated time with their mentor to reflect and plan their learning. However, the whole team will be involved in supporting the new graduate hopefully allowing them to gain their skills and confidence to become a great Vet and progress through the practice.
