About the opportunity

Jacobs has secured multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the Water and Natural Environment Sector. We need a range of skills to deliver these fantastic opportunities and are therefore recruiting Junior Engineers who are looking for a career in the Water and Natural Environment sector. We embrace flexible working and welcome candidates based throughout the UK.

You will join our team of over 1,000 Water and Environment Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will be undertaking project tasks and engineering design on flood risk, surface water, water network or wastewater collection projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need

We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.  As we move to a more flexible working arrangement, we require our staff to be similarly adaptable, agile and flexible in their approach to working. We actively encourage applications from candidates seeking part time working hours.

Essential

  • BEng/MEng Civil Engineering or BSc/MSc in an Environmental discipline
  • Interest in one or more of the following areas:
    • river engineering
    • flood risk management
    • hydraulics and water conveyance
    • hydrology and hydraulic modelling
    • surface water management and drainage
