The Manchester Quantity Surveying team supports the wider business, providing services such as Estimating, Cost Management, Contract & Commercial Support, Management, Employers Agent Services & Risk management.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • On track for a MSc/MEng Merit or BEng/BSc 2:1 or equivalent degree.
  • The desire and genuine interest to make a difference to the world around you
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to produce well-presented and accurate reports
  • Interest in new, digital ways of working, technologies and automation
  • Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Good IT skills

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have: 

  • Interest and knowledge of the markets/sector we operate
  • Health and Safety training/awareness

You will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to refer to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer general aspirations as a recognised inclusive and diverse employer.
